About The Well Gardens
Nestled in the coastal enclave of Carpinteria, The Well Gardens is a premier horticultural destination for discerning designers and estate owners. From heritage specimen trees and artisanal citrus groves to an expansive gallery of rare interior foliage, we provide the living elements that define California’s most elevated environments. Our specialized collections feature espaliered fruit for formal allées, privacy hedges, drought-wise natives, and sculptural exotics—each grown with precision to honor place, climate, and craft. See vintage, reproduction, antique and custom furniture, art, and garden finds.

My wife and I have shopped at The Well in Carpinteria numerous times and it never disappoints. The staff is really friendly. Jerry has helped us on multiple visits, always greets us. Their generosity and expertise show in how much time they spend with each customer, no matter what you’re buying. So well curated and definitely an inspiration. We always look forward to going back to see what new items they’ve brought in.

STUNNING, just stunning! The Well Gardens in Carpinteria is a absolute masterpiece. It is such a beautiful, serene place to just wander, breathe, and be endlessly inspired! They have created a truly unique destination filled with beautifully curated furniture that instantly beckons you to take your living space outdoors and elevate your garden design. This is the second location of The Well—with their incredible flagship store located just up the road in Summerland—and they have truly outdid themselves with this gorgeous new space! It is a must-visit for anyone looking for inspiration, beautiful design, or a peaceful escape. Highly, highly recommend! P.S. Be sure to stop by and say a quick hi to the friendly resident llamas 🦙 while you're there!
